This Weekend: Pets Alive Returns to Mt. Kisco - Chappaqua-Mount ...

Valentine's Day may be over, but the former Purple Passage site (41 S. Moger Ave.) has plenty of love-themed decorations, as Pets Alive is preparing to return with its pop-up pet adoption spot.

The occasion, the group notes on its Facebook page, is called the My Furry?Valentine Adoption Event. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Churchills of Mount Kisco is teaming up to sponsor the event.

The event will feature several dogs, cats and rabbits for adoption. When Pets Alive last used the vacant storefront, which was last fall and coincided with the local sidewalk sales days, an adoption record was set.?Among those who stopped by for the previous event was music artist and Bedford resident Rob Thomas, who is on Pets Alive's board.

The event was originally set for last weekend but was postponed due to the major snow storm.
