The road to the White House is running through the Bay area once again.
Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is speaking in Pinellas County later this morning.
Ryan, Mitt Romney's running mate, will be in Oldsmar at R.E. Olds Park. He is scheduled to speak just before noon.
R.E. Park is located in a residential neighborhood at the edge of Old Tampa Bay. The public is asked to park at Tampa Bay Downs, located at 11225 Racetrack Road in Tampa. A shuttle service will run from the racetrack from 7:30 a.m. on, and event grounds will open at 8 a.m. The rally will begin at 11 a.m.
As with other political rallies, all attendees will go through airport-like security. They're advised to bring as few personal items as possible and no bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids or signs. Cameras are permitted.
